Kiara-Ne sat at her desk, and opened the folder she had been handed. It contained details about the next mission the 14th would be sent on. As she read her orders, Kiara-Ne frowned. The next mission was a deep strike mission. That meant insertion by drop pod. She hated drop pods. They always put her in a bad mood. Kiara-Ne tossed the mission statement onto her desk and leaned back in her chair. It was one of the drawbacks of being part of one of the best assault platoons in the Legion she guessed. Kiara-Ne activated her vox-com, contacting Shackler and Gien-Nu to inform them of the next assignment. Once she was done, Kiara-Ne allowed herself a slight smile. At least the mission had one positive about it: There would be plenty of enemy troops she could take her bad mood out on...
