Steampunk Tikala

Tikala sat down, trying to catch her breath. She had just been dancing with her husband, Darkness, for the last thirty minutes non stop. She smiled. Darkness was still on the dance floor, tearing it up with his moves. The steampunk party was a great way to let off steam. Hisspan really knew how to throw a great party.
"You're looking exhausted," Wolfen, Hisspan's husband, said as he sat down beside her.
Tikala nodded and smoothed out her dress.
"There are days when I think no one could out dance, Darkness," she replied. "Well, besides, Hisspan, that is."
The two watched as Hisspan spun and twirled, filling in for Darkness' dance partner. Wolfen nodded.
"I know what you mean," he said. "Once she starts dancing, there's very little that can stop her."
Tikala smiled and leaned back.
"Remind me to thank Hisspan if those two ever get off the dance floor," Tikala said. "It's a fantastic party, and I've had a wonderful time."
Wolfen chuckled.
"No worries," he replied. "I'm glad you two could make it."
Tikala continued to watch her husband dance, and a sense of peace enveloped her. She was with family and close friends, and having a lot of fun to boot. This is what made life worth living.
