Steampunk Servo Skull: Wolf 01

"STOP!"
The Doll Maker ignored the cries as he sped the hearse carriage along the road. behind him, the police were slowly closing in. He grumbled. Why couldn't they just leave him along to continue his work. Who cared if they thought his creations were perverted crimes against nature. HE knew he was on to something. HE knew that if he could just unlock those elusive secrets to life, then no one would ever have to suffer the lose of a loved one ever again. All he needed was the time and resources to make it happen. In the back of the hearse, the coffin rattled around. The Doll Maker hissed. He would not let the police take his prize away from him. He glanced at the large chest sitting nrext to him and smiled. It was time to show these fools his latest works of art. Gripping the reins in one hand, the Doll Maker flipped open the chest, releasing half a dozen skulls. The skulls rose up into the air, propelled by a complex power system.
"Go!" the Doll Maker said. "Show them the error of their ways. Prove your worth to your Master!"
Basic cogitators buried deep with in the brain cases of the skulls ticked over, clicking and whirling as they processed the command. They banked and angled towards the pursuing police, determined to give their master the time he needed to escape...
