Steampunk Servo Skull: Skunk 02

The propeller noise buzzed in the air and Rowena glanced up. Her father's latest creation followed just behind her, it's cold reptilian eye watching her movements. She smiled. Lately the young acrobat, Horatio, had been annoying her with his attempts to show off and catch her attention, and Rowena had had enough. Silently she entered the circus tent and pointed up towards the high-wire where Horatio was currently practicing. The skunk skull hovered momentarily, 'blinking' before flying up. Rowena walked across to one of the audience seats and sat down. As she predicted, Horatio saw her, calling out and waving to her. Rowena made a show of waving back, chuckling as it encouraged Horatio to start showing off. He never saw the skull as it approached him from behind. A sharp hiss, and a burst of foul smelling gas fired in his direction. Horatio immediately gagged and wobbled as he tried to keep his balance. It was no use. He toppled and fell, clutching his mouth, landing into the safety net below. Rowena stood and slowly walked over to him, waving her hand delicately in front of her nose.
"You really should stop showboating, Horatio," she said as she passed him. "It's definitely starting to stink up your act..."
