"ROVER!"
Rover the werewolf jumped and bolted when he heard the angry cry from Spin the black widow. He had no idea why she was mad, but every instinct told him to make himself as scarce as possible before she found him. He bounded through the scout hall, desperately searching for a place to hide. Skidding around a corner, Rover gave a strangled yelp. In his panic he had taken a wrong turn, and now found himself face-to-face with one furious black widow.
"There you are, you flea-bitten mongrel!" Spin hissed.
Rover immediately began to plead.
"I'm innocent, Spin! I didn't do anything. I swear."
Spin growled, her hands balled into fists by her side.
"How many times have I told you not to chew on my new shoes?" she said menacingly.
Rover shook his head quickly, an act that would have been comical had he not been so terrified.
"I'd never do that," Rover protested. "I promise, Spin. I'd never chew your new shoes, especially after the last time you told me off for doing it. I..."
Rover's words drifted off as he noticed the way the black widow was looking at him. He followed her gaze down and whimpered. There in his hands he still clutched the mangled, drool drenched remains of a shoe. Rover shrunk back, his ears flattening against his head.
"Oh. Those shoes."
He dropped the offending object as though it were on fire.
"That's the third pair you've ruined this year!" Spin snarled.
"I swear, Spin," Rover stammered. "I didn't know these were your new, new shoes. I thought they were an old pair. And then when I started chewing on them..."
Rover clamped his mouth shut, knowing he was only digging himself deeper and deeper into trouble. Spin advanced and Rover yelped.
"Please, Spin," he cried. "Have mercy. Please don't hurt me."
He looked at her, trying to give her a taste of 'puppy-dog eyes', but Spin was not impressed. Rover threw up his hands.
"Spin, please, don't do anything you'll regret."
Spin smiled, her fangs showing.
"Oh," she said coldly, "I'm not going to regret this..."

Alexa the black cat and Crimson the vampire bat looked up at the giant spiderweb strung out across the ceiling of the kitchen. A large bundle, tightly wrapped in spider silk was placed neatly in the center. Only a pair of terrified eyes revealed the occupant, and carefully woven words surrounded them:
I've Been A Very Bad Puppy.
Alexa glanced over to Crimson and sighed.
"Should we get him down from there?" she asked.
Crimson nodded, sipping from her AB+ juice box.
"We probably should," the vampire bat replied.
"Spin won't be happy."
"I'll talk to her and sort this mess out."
Alexa looked back at the web and raised her hands. Magic twirled around them and she cast a spell. Instantly the bundle split open, dropping it's contents to the floor. Rover grunted and looked up, his words subdued.
"Thanks, Alexa."
Crimson coughed softly, clearing her throat to get the werewolf's attention. He smiled sheepishly at the bat.
"So," Crimson said, "what have you done this time, Rover?"
Rover started to stammer, searching for an answer. Crimson took another sip from her juice box and raised an eyebrow. There was bound to be some kind of story behind why Spin would truss up the werewolf and hang him from the ceiling. She couldn't wait to hear how he would explain all this...

I was tasked with doing a piece centered around a character/concept of his that you have yet to do anything with.

Now that I know you're afraid of spiders (and considering which of the Scouts you've previously claimed to be empathetic with), I'm getting a different impression from this story.
