Plot God

The Uncanny One leaned back as she gazed down from her cloud at the mortals below. She watched as they went about their business, completely unaware that their lives were in her control. She smiled slightly as she spied a familiar group of mortals. The Uncanny One had toyed with them before, and they amused her greatly. With fluid, lazy movements, she reached out her hand, tracing lines in the air. The Threads of Fate materialized. Strands depicting birth, death, love, happiness, sorrow, anger, and many more twisted and twirled around each other as she manipulated them. Satisfied, the Uncanny One clenched her fist, dispelling the threads, and slid off her cloud. She plummeted, the mortal world rushing up to meet her. Her wings snapped open, arresting her fall, and with an ethereal grace, she glided to a gentle landing, unseen by the eyes of the unworthy. The Uncanny One glanced about, tracking her targets and smiled wryly. It was time for her to get to work. It was time once more, for the mortal world to feel the influence of the Plot God..!
