Kovata looked down at the people below him, smiling enigmatically. He enjoyed sneaking down to the mortal world to drift amongst them. The way they looked up to him and even worshiped him stoked his ego to a degree he could not get in his own realm. But most of all, Kovata love the candy they made. It was so sweet and tasty, the best thing that mortals had ever created. Kovata glanced around to make sure he wasn't seen, and slipped away. The thought of all that candy made his mouth water. he hoped that he would encounter some especially gullible mortals and convince them to ofter him some sweets as tribute. Who knows, they may even bow down on their knees to him. That would just make his day. Kovata chuckled softly. It was good to be a god...
