On The Hunt :Trade:

Dust kicked up into the air as Raymond slammed into the building. Debris and rubble rained down on him, and he groaned. Nearby a soft laugh echoed about, followed by an eerie voice.
"I do so enjoy our little games, child."
Raymond glared at the cyborg-peacock, K. He had been hunting for his nemesis, Delta, when K had attacked him. The cyborg-squirrel tried to stand, the effort causing K to raise an eyebrow in amusement.
"Really, child," she said, her feathers starting to fan out. "One would have thought you would learn by now."
A bright light lit up the scene as K fired her lasers, the powerful beam punching Raymond further into the building, collapsing it onto him. K continued to talk as though nothing had happened.
"No matter how hard you try, you will never defeat, Delta."
The rubble shifted and K cocked her head to the side, watching curiously.
"Are you still trying to win, child," she asked, preparing to fire again. "Why don't you just give in?"
A figure burst from the ruins of the building, long tongues of flame flaring out from it's boots. Raymond howled and his hands changed, converting into chainsaws as he unleashed his rage upon the cyborg-peacock.
"I will never give in, K!" he snarled. "I will never rest until I've defeated Delta. And NOTHING will get in my way!"
The cyborg-squirrel was on K before she could react. He slashed left and right, each strike shearing off her feathers and decreasing her ability to fight back with her lasers. K staggered, shocked by the sudden onslaught. Raymond spun and lunged forward with his arm, the chainsaw on his right arm buzzing wildly as it rushed towards K's face. The cyborg-peacock gasped in horror. Just before the weapon struck home, Raymond transformed his hand back to normal. His fist connected, and K was lifted from her feet. She flew backwards and landed heavily, groaning as she slipped into unconsciousness. Raymond panted hard, trying to calm himself. The cyborg-peacock was defeated, and now he could continue his hunt for Delta. Raymond turned and strode away. K was a tough opponent and a dangerous enemy, but in a way, she had done him a favour; galvanizing the cyborg-squirrel's resolve and showing him that he could never take an enemy too lightly. Raymond made his way out of the city, continuing his search, muttering under his breath.
"I'm coming for you, Delta. I'll find you and stop you. You will see me soon, Father..."
