High Flying Serpent

Flyte licked her finger and stuck it up in the air, feeling the breeze. She smiled and adjusted the goggles over her eyes. With a few quick steps, the flying snake jumped as high as she could. Her body spasmed, causing her ribs to flair out, catching the air beneath her. She soared up, twisting and turning until she was amongst the clouds. It was heaven. Flyte dipped and weaved, enjoying the feeling as the air rushed across her lithe body. Suddenly a shadow darted over her, and the snake realized she was not alone. Arms wrapped around her, folding her ribs gently back into her body, and leaving her at the mercy of gravity and her captor.
"Caught you," a deep masculine voice chuckled.
Flyte smiled, running her hands over the ones that held her.
"About time you got here, Fly-Boy," she replied.
Behind her, her boyfriend Zac began to kiss her neck, working his way up to the base of her leather aviator helmet.
"Better late than never," Zac said.
He let her go, and Flyte dropped. Once more she extended her ribs and swooped back up, blowing Zac a cheeky kiss.
"So what are we waiting for?" Flyte asked. "Shall we go exploring?"
Zac nodded. He beat his powerful wings and flew over to her, taking hold of her hand.
"I know of some great places to the north of here," he replied.
Together the couple headed off, eager to see what they could find, knowing that even if nothing eventuated, the flight alone would be worth while. It was the perfect date...
