Valkyrie, A.K.A Erica King, grunted as her back hit the turnbuckle. She looked up and saw her opponent, an agile red fox by the name of Flame, run at her. Valkyrie dodged as Flame jumped, a forearm aimed at her head, and the fox hit the padded corner ropes. Flame and Valkyrie were competing for the Woman's World Championship title, in the Canine Wrestling Federation. Valkyrie glanced around, sections of the crowd cheering as Flame recovered quickly. Valkyrie held the advantage when it came to strength, but Flame was easily quicker and more agile. The fox grinned as she pondered the next move, and Valkyrie knew she needed to close the gap between them to bring her power to bear. She darted forward in a feint, causing Flame to back away into the corner. If she could trap her there, the fox would have no escape. Valkyrie ran in, but Flame was too quick. The fox dropped to the ground and slid between her legs. Valkyrie turned and received a dropkick to the chest for her troubles, and fell to the ground. Flame took the advantage, covering her and hooking a leg to go for the pin. Valkyrie heaved, and managed to kick out. She rolled away and got back up to her feet. Flame was doing the same. Valkyrie charged her, intending to catch her off guard, and connected with a clothesline, knocking the fox off her feet. She picked Flame up and whipped her into the ropes. The fox's momentum caused her to bounce off them and she staggered back into Valkyrie's grip. Valkyrie scooped Flame up and performed a body slam, pressing her advantage by going for the pin. The crowed cheered wildly as the count reached two, and Flame kicked out. The two women separated and looked at each other. Both were exhausted. This was truly a match worthy of the title. Flame gritted her teeth and ran at Valkyrie. She jumped and managed to land an elbow to the side of Valkyrie's head, causing the bigger woman to stagger. Flame followed up with two blows to the back, and then a kick to the thigh. Valkyrie dropped to her knees, and Flame ran to the ropes and climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, intending to finish her off. Valkyrie got back to her feet unsteadily and turned to look at Flame. Time seemed to slow down as Flame leaped. Her legs wrapped around Valkyrie's neck and shoulders as she tried to drive her to the ground, but Valkyrie didn't move. Instead, she grabbed hold of Flame's legs and lifted the fox above her head. The look on Flame's face told the whole story, she was in trouble. Valkyrie leaned forward slightly and slammed the fox back first into the mat. Valkyrie staggered a bit, and dropped to her knees to pin her opponent.
ONE! TWO! THREE!!!
The referee called for the bell as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, and Valkyrie rolled away before getting to her feet. She had won the title! She was the new Woman's World Champion!

Backstage in the locker room, Erica sat exhausted on a bench and looked at her belt. Flame, her real name was Melissa, came out of the showers and sat down next to her.
"Congratulations," she said to Erica. "That was one hell of a match. You deserve the title."
Erica smiled.
"Thanks Melissa," she replied. "You know, we simply have to do that again one day."
Melissa chuckled and gave Erica a pat on the shoulder before heading off to get changed. Erica stretched her sore muscles and stood up. It was time to have a nice hot shower, and then a well deserved break...
